Nana, you funny woman... I remember when I was 13 and we came to visit. You had me some presents that you hadn't been able to give me, I don't recall most of them as one stood out from the crowd. One you gave me with such hesitation and regret.
I saw the dumbfounded look on your face as you remembered what it was before I opened it.
"oh no, Michelle, I don't think I can give this to our Disa, you can have it and pass it down, i'm sorry, I didn't know if you wore makeup"
I laughed out LOUD!
"no nana, I don't wear makeup, but I can use it when I get older and I will keep it long after it's all empty"
It's been 12 years since then, and I still have it, the full makeup box with all the blue, white and brown eye shadows gone.
I will keep it forever, along with practically everything else you have ever gotten me (Barring the chocolates, they went on the way home)
I can never forget your voice, your mannerisms, your smile, the kiss I left on your forehead as you left my view.
I love you nana and I really do wish that I had you back.
